Join Towards Work for our new CV Skills Series for people with disabilities, delivered by IDA Ireland, CPL Recruitment and LinkedIn. The first two sessions are delivered online on Zoom, the third a hybrid event in-person at LinkedIn HQ in Dublin and online.

CV Session 1: Personal Statements and Your Strengths

CV Session 2: Writing Your CV and Cover Letter

Presented by Mark Hoare, Senior Technical Recruiter, CPL. Mark works in the technology sector – recruiting specifically for temporary and contingency positions. He works on a team of 25 specialist recruiters who focus on different areas within the technology space.

CV Session 3: Networking and LinkedIn, including LinkedIn profile clinic

Wednesday 19th July, 2pm - 4pm

The aim of the LinkedIn & Mentoring session is to give participants the knowledge and skills to build a successful LinkedIn profile, and understand the importance of networking and making professional connections. Schedule

  • 2:00-2:15pm: Welcome
  • 2:15-2:55pm: LinkedIn & Networking presentation from Raissa Masket. Presentation will be live streamed for virtual attendees
  • 2:55-3:10pm: Break
  • 3:10-3:50pm: LinkedIn/CV Clinic with LinkedIn Team for in-person attendees. Clinic will be delivered in 1-to-1 or 1-to-2 format
  • 3:50-4:00pm: Thanks and Close

Post Event                   

Virtual participants will also have the opportunity to have a virtual LinkedIn/CV Clinic with the LinkedIn Team, separately from the event on the 19th. Participants will be assigned to a LinkedIn Team member, and will be able to arrange a feedback session in their own time up to two weeks after the event.

Sign Up                       

All participants will register for the event through Eventbrite. Two ticketing options are available – In-Person Attendee and Virtual Attendee.
Virtual Attendees will be contacted by Towards Work following the main event to arrange their feedback session.
